Worst day in my life
Hi everyone my name is Jon! Im the new Wednesday guy. I hope you guys think this post is epic, because what I'm about to share with you is the worst day of my entire life.
Actually i dont care if its epic... i just need to vent this out...
So I wake up, eat, bus to school... the usual. It starts of with me forgetting my god damn 9.6 pound (i weighed it lol) Biology textbook at home, especially when I need it most in class, because we are doing a lab on Enzymes (google if you dont know). I received the worst job in the lab, which was cutting raw chicken liver into small stinky pieces so they can be dissolved into H2O2 (hydrogen Peroxide).
Anyways the rest of the day at school went ok until I found out i had a math test the next day. I suck at math. Definitely my worst subject. :/
But the day hit rock bottom when i got home. I was happy about the way my day went, I went up to my room to use my computer for Language Arts homework, then i get a phonecall from my brother.
I answer, "Hello?" "Jonathan! Grandma died!" he responded/
I spent the next 4 hours crying in my room and going to my Parents room to occasionally try to console my dad.
My grandma was in a coma for a few weeks. We thought she would recover. I am lucky though that I got to see her before she passed away.
As im typing this... i just spoke with my dad, who had to book last minute tickets to Israel with my mom. He has to go through like Vancouver and London i think
I spoke with one of my cousins in Israel and hes quite upset.
But I am happy for my grandma also, because I prefer for her to pass on to the after life rather than suffering paralyzed in a coma in the hospital bed...

Jon.... WTF ARE YOU DOING?
Hey y'all,
So I slept over at Adam's house (well not really cuz he fell asleep 6 hrs ago and im still awake LOL) and while we were awake we decided to be retarded and redo the whole song, Pegasus Fantasy, in English XD
I sat up for the last 6 hours playing a cool computer game called 12Sky. Its online with lost of ppls and its based in ancient China which is pretty stellar.
It sounds fucking hilarious. Especially cuz Adam sang normally but I purposefully sang at like 3 times a higher pitch than normal.
Well... all the guitar and solos and whatever is my playing and the drum beats are computerized.

Im getting tired of winter and I want spring to come already... I mean... this is a pitiful excuse for winter. Its not even below -10. I didnt get a chance to use my snowboard this year... but if it gets colder (probably wont...) I will go to snow valley and continue my tradition of going down the big jump and almost breaking my neck attempting something stupidly cool to ipress everyone around me (LOOOOL)

OK, so now I am in my boring CAD class in school and I just noticed something. I have been noticing this for quite some time but I had to be sure before I though anything rash.

Boxing Day @ West Edmionton Mall
So today I went to the overly crowded mall for some boxing day extravaganza shopping. I walked past The Lid Factory, which made custom hats and the lady there offered me a rejected hat with a $30 value. It was a black beanie with a golden face on it but i took it. I went then to buy my brother Jacob a Yoshi (not a real one lol) made from plastic. It's sweet. Then as I was leaving the mall, I saw something that caught my eye. My Freaking Horrible Winter Break
So as I'm sure like 90% of the world has winter break now, most people would be enjoying it, having fun, chilling with some friends, you know. I ABSOLUTELY HATE this break.
Why you may ask? Well strap on your seatbelt. You're in for a bumpy ride.
1) I can't fall asleep at night ever which results in me missing half of my day, everyday. I wake up at 2PM and go to bed at 5 AM
2) I didn't get any of my gifts yet
3) It is fucking minus 30 outside.
4) None of my friends are available when I am
5) West Edmonton Mall is overcrowded
6) My laptop crashes every 5 minutes, resulting in my absolute crankiness

Happy Channuka, Chrismas, and Kwanzah (hope it's spelled right) everybody! Well I just want to let everyone know I got a sweet gift for Channukah. I got a Fender G-DEC Guitar amp and it is amazing! I can't believe my mom would even go spend $400 on an amp! Well, this is the first time in about 3 days that my computer hasn't crashed on me. I still may get that airsoft gun, and I have news that I may recieve a late gift, but it's an iPod touch! I also recieved a new game for my Wii, whcich is Call of Duty 3: Wii Edition. It's pretty fun, but I'm sure the real thing would be funner, if I get my airsoft gun.

So like 5 hours ago I was at the Oilers vs Cyotes hockey game where we kicked their asses 4-2. The special thing was that I was with my uncle, who lives in Toronto cuz he does schooling for medicine there. After we kicked ass, the camera zoomed into Wayne Gretzky and I clearly saw him saw "Fuck You" to the assistant coach.
I came home (well to my grandma's house) and watched the Mel Brooks directed movie Apocalypto which was fucking amazing!

Boring Night... SMOKE GRENADES?????
So Im staying in my grandma's basement tonight. I wanted to put insence but there is none so i took a tea bag and wrapped it in aluminium foil and lit it up. it smells great!
I then was bored so I constructed a smoke grenade with the following materials.
a ping pong ball
aluminium foild.
axe spray
matches.
floss
paper towel.
I first punctured a hole in the ping pong ball. I then cut the match heads off and put them in the ball.
Then I rolled a paper towel into a wick, sprayed it with axe until it soaked and stuck it in the hole.
Then I wrapped the whole thing in aluminium foil. Leving the wick exposed, add lots of foil.
There you go. That lasts for like 15 seconds but its not alot of smoke. its cool though...

Herro! Do You Speak Engrish?
So yesterday I was at West Edmonton Mall, just window shopping and I saw a T-shirt that read, in a "chopsticks" styled font, "I speak Engrish"
I cracked up while looking at it and wanted to buy it but it was $20 and I only had $10 because I bout lunch-dinner for myself just minutes earlier.
Well, about my spending money, I've been spending so much of it that I was almost out for the month, but I came home yesterday and I remembered that two years ago I hid $300 in a secret stash under my bed, suspended behind the bedframe. Then I took out my $50 hidden emergency money from inside a book, where I hid it from people that come into my room very often that should not be there.
Well, since I have no emergency money, and I just revealed my hidden locations, I will save up until I have alot more money so I can spend freely without issues of running out.
I am thinking of updating the old resume and making up for myself by getting a job somewhere. I may apply at Chapters, Best Buy, Future Shop, or Safeway. I will only be able to work once a week though...
Oh well, it's unfortunate but I got to start stepping up, or else I won't be going anywhere any time soon.
I'll post later today, if I'm not doing anything,

Screw Auto Cad
So, being in High School, I decided to mess around and pick out some fun looking options, Biology 20, Sports Medicine, and AutoCad. AutoCad looked fun before but now I fucking hate it with all of my guts. I really wish I had not chosen it because I'm not sure that will do very good in it but we're already like 3/4 done the course so it's way to late to switch out.
Still, I really don't like it. My teacher Mr. Sharpe, is a nice guy, but, he really should slow down in clas. My computer hasn't even finished logging on yet, (takes like 10 mins, ) and he is already done teaching us a "new skill"
Oh, well, lets just hope I get my credits for Hebrew 35 because I will probably need all the help I can get.

Black Ice for $5 ???
So last night, my uncle calls me from Toronto and was like, "Yo Jon, download me that new AC/DC album" and I was like OK. So I did so and burnt it onto a CD. But today I was walking around Westmount mall at lunch and I walked into Supertunes. I couldn't find anything I liked (Aside from a sweet Red Hot Chili Peppers iron-on patch) so as I was walking out, I turned back and said to my buddy Sam, "I know theres a copy here somewhere." So I started walking back into the store and out of the corner of my eye, I saw it lying there on the floor under the island of cd's in the middle of the store. I picked it up and there was no tag on it. So, I walked up to the goth gil at the counter and was like, "Yo... five bucks?" She was like, "unghhh.....ok whatever..."

Don't expect me to post for the next few weeks. I'm pretty tight with school and all my extra-curricular activities. I'm pretty stacked as it is and seeing that it's halfway through the semestered courses I'm really busy. Plus I have karate twice a week, guitar lessons (even though I'm amazing), I go workout at the YMCA, and I go swimming. Oh and how could I forget soccer practices on Thursday, games on Sunday, and helping out at my grandpas store.

Soccer
OK, well I just got back from my soccer practice. My team is super 1337 (LEET) and I was a crucial player in the defence. The offensive forward. I would be a defender who would shove up and act as a fourth offender. The coach decided that I am doing so well at that, so he shoved me into the first line CENTER FIELD OFFENCE! Woot woot!
Well.... Now that I have been starting to play socer again, I am having panis in my back.
So far my teams win/loss is:
- game 1: we won 6-1
- game 2 we lost 5-4
- game 3 we won 3-2
as an offendre that number should double.

Rest of my day
So after my soccer game, I went to the mall to meet up with Justin and Sam. After some window shopping, (and free cinnamon buns) I went to Chapters to get my brother a Naruto manga book. We walked over to my grandma's house, where we ate some nachos, and watched the uncut version of Matrix Revolutions. After watching some special features, and beating solitaire twice, we are now off to the JCC where we will partake in a Krystallnacht // Holocaust Memmorial Program for BBYO.

Soccer Game
My soccer game went pretty well! We started out with a goal about 5 minutes in. But after about anther 20 they were at ua tied at 2-2. We got lazy and they popped in another goal. Then we tied us at 3-3. We ended up getting both teams points. I only got a minor injury, I scraped my kneecap and it burns a little, but some disinfectant and bandages go a longway.

So... First post eh? Well my day was kinda boring today. I woke up at about 12:00 (I'm a late sleeper). I ate my Eggo waffle breakfast, then I went to my room to lie down on my bed (I felt sick). So, as I'm lying there I turn on my electro music (like what's playing now). About 3 hrs pass and I decide to go play some Far Cry: Vengeance on my Nintendo Wii. After that I ate a frozen ravioli dinner and I am now at my grandma's house in the middle of night, supposedly sleeping because I have a soccer game tommorow. I hope nothing bad happens this time.
Last soccer game I broke my nose.
If another guy kicks the ball at my face I'll break him.

Blargh
Today I did nothing really...
Me and my brother went to our basement and found our old lasertag guns and vests. That entertained us for about an hour. I then played Battlefield 2 online for an hour. I decided to stop by Adam's. We chilled, I played my guitar. We went for a bike ride, and we played with his army people (real mature huh?). Now I'm typing this. I have to go shave now so peace it.

Ok, so the rest of my day went by pretty boring and crappy. I just sat here and played Mortal Kombat Unchained for a few hours and did nothing else.

Hi guys my name is Jon! This my first post. In case you were wondering what Yegro is, it's a nickname that a friend of mine came up with and now I'm stuck with it for about 300 people.
My day today sucked ass. I kept screwing up in my drafting course. (I'm in grade 10 btw). Science was boring. Then after lunch, I had gym. We played dodgeball with grades 10, 11, and 12.
I was standing there satisfied with a victorious double kill when i turn to fell exquisite pain, and go unconcious for a few seconds and awake on the ground. A big 12th grader on my team decided to run 30 kmp/h towards a ball not far from me but as doing so, someone threw a ball at him and he jumped wildly fraying his arms around so his elbow bashed into the side of my head, cuncussing me.
I thought it was a minor bump and I continued my day normally. Suddenly during the next period (social) i felt sik. So, I ran to the restroom. I got there just in time.
Just as I bent over the toliet, my throat chucked out my breakfast, snack, and lunch.
I went to the doctors office after school to hear him tell me that I got a cuncussion.
Great.
I then had to cancel my birthday party which was suppposed to hapened the next day.
And now I'm lying on my bed with a severe headake and nausea and typing this.
I'll keep you posted.

Metal Gear Solid 4 exceeds one million in sales for first week in Europe
Indy may have won the battle, but it looks like Snake's won the war. Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has sold more than one million units within its first week of arriving in Europe. Put another way, we're looking at over 140,000 sales within a seven-day period.
On a related note, Konami also divulged that all 25,000 of Europe's limited edition MGS4 sets, which included a making-of Blu-Ray, a soundtrack CD, and an "Old Snake" mannequin, quickly sold out. This achievement effectively eclipses MGS4's previously reported success in Japan, with sales exceeding the half-million mark just five days after its release in the region.
"MGS4 is nothing short of a masterpiece – an epic conclusion to the Solid Snake story," said Martin Schneider, Konami Germany's sales and marketing director, regarding the game's sales in his region. "We are extremely pleased with the positive feedback we have received from retail and consumers alike, and will keep satisfying their needs with updates to the game’s Extra option, and via new content to Metal Gear Online."

Ed Boon: all Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe characters get finishers, E3 content
All of the MK characters and all of the DC villains will have fatalities. The DC heroes who don't kill that often will have brutalities that will function just like fatalities but don't actually kill the opponent.
In an interview with GameSpot UK, Boon mentioned that every character will be getting finishing moves, however, they won't necessarily be fatalities. If you're wondering why this is the case, here's what he had to say:
Moving on the second tidbit of info that caught our attention. Boon has confirmed that more of the game will be unveiled at E3. He said that they plan on showing off four characters as well as two arenas. While he didn't give any specifics, we can't help but hope that the arenas and characters don't include those already revealed in the trailer - just so, y'know, we see something new this time. Oh well, I guess we'll find out when E3 arrives this year.
Rumorlicious: Kratos as PS3 exclusive SoulCalibur 4 character?
Do you see those twin Blades of Chaos? They're apparently coming to slice you up on the PS3 in more ways than one. We've received word of yet another Kratos-inspired rumor, this time linking the demigod of war to SoulCalibur 4 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360).
That's right. In the latest issue of EGM, the Quartermann rumors section has a quick ditty about the possibility of Kratos making it to the SoulCalibur universe. As you can probably guess, the rumor cites him as a PS3 exclusive.
To put it simply, and without malice towards the Star Wars fans out there, Kratos seems like a much better fit than Yoda or Darth Vader for the SoulCalibur universe. For one thing, his Blades of Chaos are actually made of metal and not laser light (or whatever the heck those things project).
Furthermore, he seems like the perfect ruthless entity to carry on the power of the Soul Edge; seeing as he's already godly, for lack of a better term, why not give him some all-powerful chain blades to go along with his person?
In any event, this is still a rumor, but boy... isn't it a lovely one? Keep checking QJ for updates on this rumor.

Ben Campbell is a young, highly intelligent, student at M.I.T. in Boston who strives to succeed. PSP Firmware 4.00 Decrypted
The team that brought us Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN was able to look into the resource directory of Firmware 4.0's flash0 resource directory, revealing a bunch of PRXs that have been changed.
They note these PRXs among those that have been changed: pops popsman, npdrm, np9660, mlnbridge, sysmem, umdcache, sysconf, and video. They also point out that the NIDS doesn't seem to have been changed.
Good news is that they don't think that any of the changes will pose too much of a problem for developing Custom Firmwares, and they believe that one will be introduced soon.

UFC Video Game!
